In the framework of Basel II regulation, I am working on the reporting of Credit Risk capital for securitization at the level of the group of a big bank.
The main task of my team is to:
- collect and verify the data used for the calculations,
- run the inputs to compute the Credit Risk Capital amount for each position of securitization,
- analyze the figures and send them for the Basel II COREP reporting once the quality of the figures has been assessed.
Functional Analyst
February 2008 – June 2010 (2 years 5 months)
I have integrated the OIB Group Services BI Team of the IT department of a big bank.
The OIB Group Services BI Team:
is responsible for the Data Store applications and related legacy applications
manages the delivery of relevant current and historical information to end user applications
is the guardianship of the knowledge of the applications (validation and contact point for projects)
realizes the maintenance of the applications (including incident and problem management as well as support to users)
My planning is split between functional expertise at Service side and at Project side.
As a Functional Analyst BI in Service, my main mission is to:
Provide a functional expertise to the Project team: Functional support, validation of Functional documents
Provide a functional support to Finance regarding lending products: Client profitability, transfer rate calculation...
Provide a functional support to the users of the Accounting Datamart
Be responsible for functional documentation
Realize quality checks of Data, incident and problem fixing
As a Functional analyst on Project side, my mission is:
to consult with Business representatives in the Initiation phase of new projects
to prepare Project Initiation Document (PID)
the elaboration of Functional designs and required documentation
to support the Business during the testing phase
to insure the handover of the project to the Service team
