- Experimental study of natural convection in a vertical heated channel
2011 - 2011The study is dealing with the integration of photovoltaics modules within the building frame.
The main issue carried out, was to optimize the the position of this modules within the building frame in order to improve their passive cooling. The efficiency of the photovoltaics panels is strongly dependent on their temperature, as a consequence, an optimized integration will result in keeping stable their efficiency.
Therefore the laboratory has an experimental device known as a vertical heated channel. By means of this channel different integration configurations were studied.
My mission was to perform temperature and velocity measurement, in order to characterized the natural convective flow. The collected data have been used as a refference to validate a numerical model, created to better understand the influence of external condition on the flow.

- Assistant engineer
Munich2010 - 2010Because of the development of a new electric vehicle "Mini E", BMW was paying attention to power-plant and distribution grid.
As an assistant engineer, my obbjective was to study the advantages of batteries regarding renewable energy development.
