  • Genesis Oil & Gas Consulting - Flow Assurance Skills Group Manager

2014 - maintenant I manage a team of 5 to 7 flow assurance specialists to ensure successful delivery of conceptual, pre-FEED, FEED and detailed design studies. I am responsible for technical assurance, mentoring, recruitment, development of processes and business development. Through my function I promote an innovative approach to solving complex technical problems and foster a communicative, positive working environment for the team and the wider business.

On projects I potentially also act as a Study Manager providing valuable input to complex flow assurance studies in compliance with safety and environmental policies and procedures and ensuring good lines of communication to deliver on project milestones.

As the face of the flow assurance business I lead proposals where required, coordinating flow assurance input, delivery methodology, schedules and costing. I am responsible for developing and building on existing client relationships as well as assisting the Business Development Manager to identify and secure new clients.

We are currently working on giant angolan project Kaombo on flow assurance studies (for Technip) and on insulation design/thermal testing (for Heerema). We are also performing a FEED study for ENI on Coral South project (SURF+FLNG) or detailed design on Agbami Phase 3 for Chevron. We have a high focus in our work on management of interfaces and multi-disciplinary skills with process, subsea design, operations, RAM, etc.
  • Subsea 7 - Lead Flow Assurance Engineer

SURESNES 2012 - 2014 I was in charge of the flow assurance team in Subsea 7 France(Suresnes) for Africa and Gulf of Mexico region and supporting Subsea 7 worldwide in other regions. The team was composed from 4 to 6 engineers (3 seniors, 2 juniors & 1 trainee).

We were mainly working on offshore projects whether it is on conceptual phase (Block 32, PANYU), in tendering (CLOV, GSEP/EESP, Egina, Mafumeira, Kizomba Satellite, Moho Nord, CRX, Ehra North) or in detailed engineering (Block 15, TRYM, Pazflor, EGP3B, CLOV, ALNG, ATLA, Erha North P2, Lianzi).

In addition to Flow Assurance work we liaised with other disciplines (like pre-commissioning, industrial risk, topsides or pipeline) to optimize the work and find new synergies to improve the quality of our deliverables and the safety of our designs & operations.
