Vietnamese, graduated from HEC (in 1999), I then worked for 6 years for Ernst & Young France. I’m in charge of corporate finance and Management Accounting courses at Montpellier 1 University as Associate Professor.
Research’s goals
My research concerns Management Accounting, Audit and Controlling’s area, and particularly, the virtual team’s controlling as case study. Virtual teams are project team, practice community, professional community. These teams work at distance with new information and communication technology use and rarely meet.
In this new context, I’m interest in the question is often asked by managers and CEO: how manage virtual teams, how integrate knowledge created by virtual teams in the system of control (Roberts Simons). The case study will be my principal research’s method.
The results of this research will be valid by you and used for my thesis, and may give you insights of your business situation though an outsider’s view and analysis of researchers responding for your issues of management accounting. To increase the validity of the research, various sources will be mobilized like: financial reporting, interviews, platform direct observation.
Best regard,
Thuy Seran
