    * Writing and reviewing technical papers. ;
    * Research legislation using tools available in providing technical support and develop strategies for advisers.
    * Presenting technical updates and strategies to internal parties (technical team, paraplanning) and external parties (advisers).
    * Maintain and assist in the development of technical resources and educate advisers on their value add.
    * Contribute to Paraplanner forums with updates, case studies and analysis.
    * Ability to be fully up to date with both legislative and technical developments, and be able to apply these developments for advisers in specific client situations.
    * Assist in the development and maintenance of technical resources, including tools, technical content on websites and presentations.
    * Check marketing material for technical sign-off. ;
    * Technical support for advisers via phone and email on financial planning technical issues, within service standards relating to accuracy and timeliness.
    * Technical support for other Financial Advice Network (FAN) teams as required on financial planning technical matters.
    * Maintain strong relationships with advisers, internal teams, business partners and other technical units.
    * Assist Advice and Compliance areas on technical issues, as required.
    * Fostering productive relationships across other business areas to assist in the achievement of internal business objectives.
    * Contributing and participating in a team environment by willingly sharing knowledge and technical expertise.
