- Migration Architect
Bois-Colombes
2015 - 2017
For the last two years, as a Migration Architect, I helped three customers to migrate their workloads from legacy systems to IBM or third parties data centres.
My experience in midrange infrastructure helped me understand the different aspects of a migration and the numerous roles involved.
During this time, I worked on three different projects: a bank, a CSI and an Insurance company.
Those projects allowed me to familiarize with migration methodology and migration tools like Zerto, vCenter Converter, Double Take, Veeam, Platespin, TDMF.
I also had to work with security teams from IBM, AT&T or Vodaphone to define the different services
On those projects, I had to work very closely with the customer and third parties. I also had to manage a team of eight contractors on the bank project to centralise their documentation to the repository.
This new role allowed me to learn a lot about the complexity of a full IT architecture, the imperatives of following an agenda, the implication of working on Production environments and the methodology required to work with hundreds of people all over the globe.

- Delivery IT Architect
Bois-Colombes
2014 - 2015
Delivery IT Architect.
Specialised in Hardware like IBM POWER, Intel (Windows and Linux), other UNIX (HP and Solaris), ERP such as SAP, Oracle eBS and BI/CRM, migration of big volumes of data, moving workloads to the cloud and physical migrations.
As of 2014, my role has been to study and design infrastructure architecture for customers in the GTS delivery team.
My main goal was to collect Non Functional Requirements (NFR), analyse them, and from these NFRs to design infrastructure architectures guidelines.
As an IT architect, I had to design and advice customers, IBM or IBM partners on a destination architecture for new or existing workloads.
Since the fourth quarter of 2014, my role was to design and document proposals for customers.
For all these cases, the deliverable I had to produce was the design of an infrastructure architecture and a migration path, including a planning, a sizing and an estimation of the costs and benefits.
And the solution has to include all related IT topics: infrastructure for mobile users, high availability, DRP, backups, virtualization, middleware, interfaces, networking, consolidation, bandwidth, operation, monitoring, etc...
As of October 2014, I worked on numerous projects including:
- Write numerous proposals for a migration to the cloud for existing or new Oracle and SAP applications.
- Advise a multinational consumer goods company for their next Financial SAP architecture.
- Consolidate a worldwide Banking Company Asset Management solution from from 12 data centres across 5 countries to 1 while ensuring the application is running 24x7 for 800 end-users from 22 different countries.
- Advise telephone company on the different methods of service for security (IAM, DLP, IDS/IPS, SIEM, and Encryption)
- Estimate an upgrade of a cloud infrastructure in the UK for a Japanese car manufacturer.
