  • BASF - Credit Manager Europe South

    Levallois-Perret 2009 - 2014 Developed and directed a team, also remotely, of up to 11 credit managers, reviewing, optimising and implementing local credit organisation and guidelines. Contributed to the redefinition and implementation of the new European Credit Organisation and driven organisational changes locally. Managed 7000 customer accounts for 500m€ A/R (1.8bn€) across Italy, Greece, Malta, Cyprus and Israel. Credit authority level up to 1m€ single risk.

    Key Achievements:
    • Defined and implemented Regional Credit Policy with improved KPI reporting and proactive attitude.
    • Delivered immediate progress in response timing and accuracy to rebuild confidence and motivation.

    1996 - 1999 Mid-sized Group in the refrigeration equipment for supermarkets with 250m€ turnover worldwide. The role evolves from customer service, to the management of Documentary Letters of Credit, to the reduction of transportation costs, to credit control and credit insurance on export customers.
