    2017 - 2019 Position overview:

    - Self dependent development of new and improved processes, materials, designs and products for the use in automotive interior.
    - Project management of innovation projects.

    Main tasks are:
    - Assess through different studies the technical feasibility of innovative concepts and ideas
    - Define technical project targets together with the Innovation Project Leader (IPL)
    - Build and evaluate innovation plans.
    - Relate results in various forms and present them in Innovation comities.
    - Ensure patent protection on innovative solutions in close cooperation with the intellectual property department.
    - Cooperate with Concept engineering and Poles of Competences department to communicate and ensure good transfer of innovation projects into serial development.
    - Collaborate with external development partners and suppliers in a prototyping/innovation project context
    - Cooperate with other Faurecia Innovation Centres

    Paris 2016 - 2017 Context and goals:
    - Industrial project, work done under the supervision of a PhD student and a researcher
    - Mission: Mechanical and structural study of natural fibre composite materials

    Tasks/work done:
    - Prepared flax fibres and epoxy based composite samples, and micromechanical testing samples
    - Performed the mechanical characterization of composites (tensile testing) and the micromechanical characterization of flax/epoxy (single fibre fragmentation testing)
    - Carried out an entensive bibliographic research on flax fibre composite materials to match with my own results and experiments
    - Undertook a structural analysis of the composite materials with Scanning Electron Microscopy, Polarized Light microscopy and fibre content measurements
    - Summarized and presented our results in project meetings with the industrial partners

    Results:
    - Optimized mechanical properties of the flax fibre composite
    - Improved composite structure through an improved design of the flax reinforcement
    - Report on mechanical properties of the composite at the end of its development and the project
  • Ntn-snr - Engineering Assistant

    Annecy 2014 - 2015 Friction torque optimization of automotive wheel bearings:
    - Carried out friction torque tests for clients
    - Tested a calculation method
    - Took part in the quality control of wheel bearings
    - Handled secondary tasks such as the creation of a performance indicator for wheel bearings tests, knowledge capitalising for the company and assisting project engineers in various tasks.
