  • Baylor College of Medicine - Instructeur

    2015 - maintenant
  • Baylor College of Medicine - Postdoctoral Associate

    2010 - 2015 Translational Research in Oncology - Current projects:
    Project#1: Demystify the role of the Androgen Receptor in the resistance to aromatase inhibitors in ER-positive breast cancer

    Project#2: Identify molecular signature(s) for outcomes of triple negative breast cancer

    Project#3: Identify new targets in triple-negative breast cancer

    Accomplishments:

    * Engineered in vivo (mice) and in vitro (cell lines, primary & stable) preclinical models to investigate the effect of new and approved drugs ;
    * Performed mechanistic studies using gain- and loss-of-function approaches such as gene silencing and protein expression
    * Analyzed IHC slides for micrometastasis ;
    * Analyzed microarray data and queried datasets for prognosis value and gene signatures using statistical tools and software (R language)
    * Analyzed, interpreted, and reported experimental results internally as well as at international translational meetings
    * Collaborated with external labs and pharmaceutical companies to assess the effects of drug treatments in our preclinical models
    * Supervised students and participated in teaching ;
    * Used Quality Assurance tools and guidance to write protocols, trace and keep records ;
    * Troubleshot experiments
  • Université Joseph Fourier - ATER

    Saint-Martin-d'Hères 2007 - 2009 * Prepared and executed lab sections and class lectures in fundamental microbiology, immunotechniques and genetic diseases
  • HybrIsère - Research and Development Engineer

    2004 - 2005 * Extracted splenocytes from immunized mice and generated / maintained hybridomas
    * Generated monoclonal antibodies using ascites and bioreactors
    * Optimized cell culture conditions and increased efficiency of antibody production by over 50%
