    Paris 2012 - 2013 The objective of this USAID-funded project is to improve public confidence in the post-conflict recovery process through enhanced governance and effective community initiatives in Côte d’Ivoire.
    My role in the program is to target grants beneficiaries such as organizations, civil society, ministry, local governments and others. So far, I had been involved in more than 15 grants.
    My principal responsibility is to ensure that grants’ implementation is executed as planned from the beginning to the end.
    My specific tasks include, but are not limited, to the following:
    - Working closely with PDOs (Program Development Officer) to better prepare the grant development by ensuring that the budget is correct and reflects actual costs. Also provide the PDOs with information from the field that helps for better performance;
    - Working closely with the procurement and logistic team to ensure that all the items submitted in the grant’s budget have been delivered;
    - Organizing meetings with beneficiaries to discuss practical details before the activity starts;
    - Recruitment of organizations, international and local consultants involved in some grants;
    - Examining CVs in commission and contacting selected consultants and/or organizations for sensitive aspects (contract, scheduled, invoice…);
    - Providing feedback to the team regarding details that happened while on the field (through reports, pictures, information, contacts…);
    - Monitoring grant activities, completion, and deliverables;
    - Working with finance team to verify that payments associated with the activity have been finalized according to USAID procedures;
    - Preparing activities’ final evaluation report (programmatic)
  • PUMLS - Program Assistant

    2009 - 2012 The PUMLS is a World Bank funded' HIV/AIDS project in Côte d’Ivoire, which main objective is to promote a multi-sector response by focusing on HIV/AIDS as a development issue and by engaging both local communities and the private sector. A key feature of this project is direct support to community organizations, NGOs, and the private sector for local HIV/AIDS initiatives.
    Principal tasks :
    - Contribuate to elaborate annual plan (from year 2009 to 2011) and quarterly reports of activities;
    - Work closely with NGOs and evaluate their capacities;
    - Monitor and evaluate grant implementation by NGOs funded by the PUMLS ( more than 70 NGOs have been funded by the PUMLS throughout the country )
    - Check/Revise NGO’s programmatic and financial reports;
    - Organize and administrate capacities building for NGOs funded in M&E, financial and programmatic procedures of the World Bank;
    - Upload information in the PUMLS database (program management software TECPRO®);
    - Contribute in workshops, supervision, coaching… with national health programs, committees, ministries, NGOs and others;
    - Develop programmatic team’s weekly reports and dashboard;
    - Develop terms of reference/statements of work for consultant or activities;
    - Organize trips in different regions of Côte d’Ivoire to supervise beneficiary NGOs.

  • United Nations HQ / 62nd Session of the General Assembly - Intern

    2007 - 2008 The topic of my master’s thesis was “from the League of Nations to the 62nd Session of the General Assembly”. As part of my research, I participated as an observer to the 62nd session of the General Assembly opened on September 2007. The research, focused on humanitarian, cultural and social affairs’ commissions, has been established with consultations of the archives of the UN library and discussions with key stakeholders/informants.
