Theme of the 4th edition:
Always look on the bright side….
The theme of this year’s TEDxMarrakesh is meant to be a little playful. However, it is also a statement that raises many questions:
Are positive thoughts always powerful?
Does having a sunny disposition make you live longer or simply drive others mad?
Do we need to balance optimism with realism, light with dark?
Do those in power control with fear and negativity?
Is an overly cautious approach to life ever a force for good?
The theme is a loose one, of course, and will allow you to listen to and experience people’s tales of struggle and ambition. This TEDx conference will follow the well-tested formula of 10 speakers each sharing their ideas for under 18 minutes on a subject close to their hearts.
The talks will be in three sections, one session in the morning and two after lunch. The talks are broken up with some musical interludes, selected TED recorded talks and of course lunch, coffee and tea breaks.
The day closes with a beautiful dinner for all.
All talks are filmed and then posted on to the TEDxMarrakesh website, a well respected, much visited site.
