Responsible for leading and coordinating a cross functional team in a matrixed organization using the Integrated Product Development (IPD) or Integrated Product Improvement (IPI) processes in close relation with MKT, Operations, Crane Care and Engineering COEs including : competition and technology watch, research and study of innovative concepts, estimation of engineering effort, of impact on Operations and Crane Care in order to plan some of these projects into the NPD roadmap. Then performs some of the engineering tasks during IPD stage 0 to 1, leads the engineering work and drives the multidisciplinary IPD core team Members trough all the IPD stages 0 to 6. Ensures the communication to the Process Owners. Accountable for all IPD project related activities with respect to schedule, cost, and product requirements including quality goals. Strong project management and communication skills are a mandatory requirement for an IPD/IPI Team.
