Serving as chief executive officer for Silcord US Productions, Alain Amouyal is advancing bold, progressive endeavors to awe, inspire, and heal people around the world.
Collaborating with screenwriters, filmmakers, choreographers, producers, and other professionals, Alain is focusing his talents in music composition, writing and 3D design to develop dramatic musical compositions and multimedia presentations for expressive therapies. In this quest, Alain and his colleagues established Los Angeles-based Silcord US Productions to develop visionary projects — including The Orpheus Project, The Orpheus Center, the Catharsis Technique, and Catharsis Application Program.
As a classical composer, Alain has collaborated with world-renowned artists — among them, American film composer and orchestrator Conrad Pope, the London Symphony Orchestra and London Voices, and Byelorussian Radio and TV Symphony Orchestra. To date, Alain has recorded and published 15 CDs and his works have been performed by celebrated concert pianists in France, Belgium, Germany, the U.K. and the U.S.
Alain previously advanced the mission of an internationally recognized professional recording studio, as co-founder and director of Studio Plateforme, in southern France — designed as a center for research and creation. While pursuing his passion for music, Alain was a practicing dental surgeon who helped patients release tension by playing his cathartic musical recordings. Extensive clinical observation and experimentation evolved into development of the Catharsis Technique & Catharsis Application Program — a highly specialized therapeutic application created for use by healthcare professionals.
