    Paris 2016 - maintenant  Reporting to the Group Financial Director based in UK, my duties include:
    - Management of European Accounting & Financial Reporting team.
    - Preparation of annual financial statements for 4 EMEA entities.
    - Liaison with auditors for completion of statutory audits for 4 EMEA entities.
    - Oversight of monthly VAT compliance for all entities.
    - Completion of internal month end accounting under UK GAAP.
    - Review and sign off of monthly balance sheet reconciliations for all entities.
    - Provide financial reporting leadership on EMEA compliance matters to other business units.
    - Identify cost saving opportunities and drive through to realisation.

    Achievements:
    - Successfully took on responsibility for all aspects of reporting previously completed by Financial Director following an internal reorganisation. Ensured continued completion of all aspects of accounting and external compliance work with fewer resources resulting in no disruption to the business.
    - Ensured team stayed focused, motivated and completed all required work during a period of challenging internal and external business conditions.
    - Successfully met all month end, quarter end and year end corporate close deadlines.
    - Oversaw VAT inspection by HMRC resulting in no financial penalties being levied.
    - Designed and implemented reconciliation process to ensure consistent reporting of figures for VAT return, EC Sales List, Intrastat and Office of National Statistics reports.

    Paris 2014 - 2015  As supervisor of accounting and reporting, monitored French and Benelux markets in addition to preparing and submitting current bylaw French declarations including TVA, CVAE, CFE, TVS, DOETH and DAS2. Expertly design and implement financial procedures to improve the Value Added Tax and monthly journals. Oversee French payroll procedures and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and further develop judgment-based accruals upon request. Additionally, prepare statutory accounts, year-end reports, monthly balance sheet reconciliations, end group reporting, SOX controls and collaborate with auditors on improvement projects.
    Reporting to the Senior Manager, Finance based in UK, my duties include:
    - Management of French and Benelux Finance team – four qualified Accountants.
    - Overall responsibility for month end close processes under US GAAP for all 3 EMEA entities.
    - Preparation of annual financial statements under local GAAP for 3 EMEA entities.
    - Planning and management of external audits for 3 EMEA entities.
    - Liaison with US Tax team to prepare and file annual corporation tax returns for EMEA entities.
    - Preparation and presentation of internal monthly EMEA consolidated results to US HQ.
    - Review and approval of all manual journal entries prepared by UK Finance team.
    - Review and approval of monthly balance sheet reconciliations for 3 EMEA entities.
    - Preparation of weekly cash forecasting summary and funding requests for all 3 EMEA entities.

    Achievements:
    - Implemented improved compliance tracking tool for all 3 EMEA entities resulting in better visibility of current status to senior US management and improved decision making with regard to planning and resource allocation.
