Amal ANNORI, Environmental Research Engineer, specialized in water treatment and environment pollution. I hold an engineer diploma from National School of Applied Sciences-Morocco and a master degree from Sciences and technologies Faculty-University of Limoges-France.
My first graduation project was about a design of a wastewater treatment plant which was based on trickling (153000 EH). In my Master research thesis, I focused on water quality in dam especially heavy metals evaluation and dynamic. The aim was to simulate the mobility of a cocktail of heavy metals (Cr, Cd, As, Cu and Ni) under different physicochemical properties of sediment-water interface. The experiments were carried out in order to evaluate the desorption behavior of these heavy metals from sediments to water column. This work had contributed to the evaluation of the vulnerability of water quality of dam to heavy metal contamination.
My experience in environment issues related to sediments and water quality has allowed me to develop skills for working not only on heavy metals, but also on nutrient element in all agricultural systems at the different levels (field, watershed). Indeed, I have both the theoretical and laboratory approach and tools for carrying out quality research in environmental issues related to agricultural pollution and sediment related to erosion.
