General interests & skills:
What I like most is organising events, especially sporting events. I have an experience in this area as I was the Event coordinator at Australian Sailing, was the President of the Sports association of my University and was also a volunteer for the Euro 2016. The aspects that I like most in planning and organizing events are the social relations developed with all the people you meet, having responsibilities, the providing of a service for many persons, and the pleasure of seeing your event succeed. I have developed different skills such as team spirit, patience, autonomy, and how to be responsive to the different obstacles one can encounter. I can also say that I am enterprising and organised.
Current involvements:
Thanks to these former experiences, I now have skills in team management and communication, skills that I put into practice as soon as an opportunity arises. For instance, I am part of the Junior Enterprise of my University, which works like a consulting firm. I am also organising the stand of my University for the INFOSUP salon in Toulouse, which consists in finding ambassadors, organising the conferences, producing the communication media… I love being involved in different projects and discovering new interests.
Hobbies :
I have done a lot of different sports in competition like gymnastics, skiing, volley-ball, handball, or cheerleading. Competition pushes you to do your best and to improve, and it does have an impact in my way of facing obstacles and dealing with stress. I enjoy music as well as I have played the cello for 10 years, and it taught me how to be rigorous.
I also love travelling as it allows you to discover new ways of living and cultures, but also because you meet new people, which is really important in order to be more sociable, open-minded and to improve in another language. I have been in many different countries like Australia, Malaysia, New-Zealand, England, Poland, Italy or Greece for instance.
