    Responsible of the following:

    •Preparation of Electrical Pre-commissioning, Commissioning and Operational test procedures as per OPERCOM methodology.
    •Manage Electrical Pre-commissioning, Commissioning activities.
    •Coordination with other disciplines (Rotating, ICSS and Instrumentation).

  • CEGELEC, Total E&P Congo - Commissioning Manager

    2011 - 2011 TOTAL Exploration & Production CONGO (TEPC) – SENDJI/YANGA Project- Offshore.

    Pre-commissioning, Commissioning and start up of electrical installations from 230VAC up to 30KV switchboards.
    Responsible of the following:

    • Co-ordination for the organisation of the various pre-commissioning, commissioning activities (database, procedures, operational tests, punch lists, etc) by using OPERCOM™/ICAPS® methodology & software’s.
    • Co-ordination of the discipline engineers, planning/punch list coordinators and vendors representative activities.
    -Under the authority of the Commissioning Manager; monitoring the Pre-commissioning / Commissioning preparation phase and supervises the execution of the Commissioning; contributes in the smooth hand-over to Operations entity.
    Pre-commissioning / Commissioning Preparatory Phase:
    • Ensure proper implementation of all Pre-commissioning/Commissioning requirements.
    • Prepare and control commissioning procedures – including Operational Test Procedures.
    • Review Pre-commissioning & Commissioning schedules and time lines and ensure they remain consistent with milestones and operational constraints.
    Commissioning execution Phase:
    • Ensure HSE is given the highest priority, e.g. Commissioning personnel are adequately trained, EPCC CONTRACTOR Safe System of Work and Permit to Work procedures are duly applied and job instructions complied with, potential hazards are immediately addressed. Stop the work execution if safety is not guaranteed.
    • Control the Pre-commissioning status and gives approval for system hand-over to Commissioning (RFC).
    • Supervise and coordinates Commissioning activities. In particular, closely monitors the update of the commissioning schedule and provides input as required (e.g. planning of baseline inspection activities); ensure that commissioning activities are completed as per schedule; ensure that inter-discipline checks are performed by the member of his team; control the timely issue and the accuracy of all progress reports; ensures (and coordinates if need be) the intervention of vendors; ensure that temporary utilities, tools, spare parts and consumables are available; liaise with EPCC CONTRACTOR Commissioning team.
    • Approve Commissioning forms as per the signatory matrix of the Project.
    Contribute in the effective hand-over between Project and Operations.

    2010 - 2011 In charge of electrical design related to temporaries installations prior platforms SHUT Down.
    •Preparation of Cable calculation, cables list.
    •Preparation of materiel specifications.
    •Preparation of materiel take off and procurement follow up.
    •Managing of CAD designers.
    •Procurement: interface with vendors, technical bids evaluations, variations/concessions assessment.
    •Answering to requests received from site and client representative.

    2009 - 2010 SHELL/CB&I Pearl GTL C3 PROJECT – Ras Laffan Industriel City – State of QATAR:

    •In charge of all electrical, instrumentation and telecom construction and pre-commissioning activities
    •Managing more than 200 construction peoples from engineer to Helper (>1 million man-hours without LTI)
    •Materiels take off of bulk materiel and procurement follow-up.
    •Attend to the daily construction meeting with client.
