  • Polyconcept Hong Kong Ltd - Intern

    2007 - 2007 Trading Department: I was the go-between between American / European customers
    and Chinese factories. I had to search for new customers and then do the sourcing for them among items produced by Chinese factories. The business field was promotional items: writing instruments, travel bags, office technology, watches, home & living, games…I attended professional fairs in Guangzhou and Hong Kong to find out what the new items were and compare prices. I have learned the basis on trading concepts and trading behaviours.

  • HSBC France - Analyst

    Paris 2005 - 2005 Credit Risk Department: I reviewed and analysed companies’ balance sheets to know whether HSBC France should grant them further credits of not, given their solvency.
    Marketing and Communication Department: I was responsible for the elaboration of the new intra-HSBC magazine at the crucial moment of the change of brands (from CCF to HSBC); this magazine aimed at explaining HSBC employees what would change in the bank, which new services would be available…I learnt all the different stages in the making-up of a magazine.

  • Banque de France - Analyst

    Paris 2004 - 2004 International Monetary Studies Departement
    I did comprehensive studies on the economic relationships between the IMF and emerging countries, i.e. how IMF structural programs were implemented and what were the results.
    I also wrote reports on the economic and political crises in the Dominican Republic and in Uruguay. Therefore I had to read large IMF reports in English and select the most relevant information for my analysis. It taught me how to present an administrative paper which would then be published and used within the Banque de France.

    2002 - 2002 I was an Institutional Sales Assistant, charged of doing researches and studies on RAM’s chief competitors.
