  • MSCI - Fixed Income ESG Researcher (Senior Associate)

    New York 2014 - 2015 • Utility industry: analysis of fuel fix, carbon and toxic emissions and renewable energy. February 2015: I was the MSCI representative for a roundtable on the future of Britain’s Energy organized by Prospect magazine in the context of UK’s general elections.
    • Country rating: analysis of human capital development, basic infrastructure, energy security, macroeconomic indicators, corruption, money laundering, geopolitical risk and sanctions.
    • Green Bonds: European coordinator for the Green Bond team. Weekly review of bond issuance to determinate bond eligibility status for the Barclays-MSCI Green Bond Index launched in November 2014. Regularly presented my research work to clients in collaboration with the sales team.

  • Metlife Investments - Fixed income Investment Associate

    2010 - 2014 • Managed up to £700 million of cash weekly (Currencies traded: EUR, GBP, USD, NOK, PLN).
    • Invested in European Treasury Bills and Money Market products (TD, CP, CD).
    • Analysed macroeconomic and political developments in the Eurozone.
    • Followed monetary decisions of the Bank of England and European Central Bank.
    • Maintained relationships with brokers, followed deals issued in the market, liaise with Credit
    Analysts and Portfolio Manager to verify investment suitability, attended market conferences.

    2007 - 2010 - Sovereign and corporate debt analysis for France, Middle East, North Africa and Sub-Saharan Africa
    - Update on government debt issuance, corporate bonds, Sukuk, Islamic bonds.
    - 2008: Met with the Moroccan central bank and head of Fixed Income of local banks.
    - 2007: Attended the Sub-Saharan Capital Markets conference (IFR).
