Bekaert Solaronics proposes drying and curing solutions for the industry and particularly Paper and Board industry. With around 90% of its turnover outside France and 60% outside Europe, Bekaert Solaronics is a company which exports his know how in drying processes in a worldwide competitive sector.
Application engineer in this company during 5 years, I assisted the sales team in the sales process, by helping them to promote our technology through technical presentations and arguments. My position offered to be confronted in a daily basis to the customers and OEMs' requests, all over the world (Europe, Asia, Americas) with on site meetings for technical presentations of our products and presence at mill site during validation phases or special start-up. Through this experience I have developed my understanding of commercial aspects of the business, taking into account particularity of each country. A second important parameter which leads me to success in my position is my capacity to translate technical analysis into technical solutions.
Then I moved to the position of Market Manager for the Pacific Asia, and East Europe area, ensuring the market coverage of these areas, from the first contacts via direct exchanges with the customers or an agents' network to the proposals and negotiation phases with contracts' reviews.
