Mission: Development of the Bisphenol A free Valspar product portfolio for food cans
• Management of 2 technicians
• Planning, scheduling and management of research projects, ensuring completion of assignments within quality, time required and safety
• Interaction and communication with other departments such as technical (analytical department, polymer research department,...), business, and sales located worldwide
• Responsible for internal technical presentation to other technical groups or to the European business team
• Build supplier relationships in order to maintain a good knowledge of coating speciality chemicals
• Formulation of internal and external solventborne modified polyester resin for 2Pc and 3Pc food cans, regular ends and easy open ends
• Participation to product industrialisation, from the coating fabrication at production scale to the sheet application and transformation at the customer.
• Experience with customer technical service for line trials assistance
• Solving technical laboratory problems
