  • University of Amsterdam - PhD Student

2015 - maintenant Application of chemostat systems to include adaptation of microbial communities in persistency testing.
Improving assessment of persistency through adaptation; standardize methodology and assess ecological significance
  • INRA - Graduate Research Assistant

Paris 2015 - 2015 Laboratory work, Field work, Literature review, Statistics, Metadata.
  • University of Gothenburg - Young researcher internship - Master's thesis

2014 - 2014 Internship performed to the University of Gothenburg, department of Biological and environmental sciences, under the supervision of Professor Thomas Backhaus. Results were of sufficient quality for writing my master's thesis (University of Bordeaux, Master's thesis written in English and in French) and a publication in the open scientific literature, which is currently under preparation. Aim of this study was to compare the effect of a commercially available silver nanoparticles (20 nm) and of silver ions (Ag+) to the gram negative bacterium Pseudomonas putida, in order to contribute to their environmental hazard assessment. Different approach were used for measure the effects, such as the growth inhibition of the bacterial strain (growth inhibition assay according to ISO 10712) and the expression of a target gene (by qRT-PCR) involved in the ROS control (SodB) and a metal efflux pump gene (CzcA).
  • INRA - Young researcher internship

Paris 2013 - 2013 Internship of 3 months as young researcher to the French national institute for Agronomical research (INRA, Versailles Grignon, France). The aim of this internship was to investigate the impacts of pesticides on agricultural soil biofilms, and evaluate their resistance to these compounds by measuring enzyme activity and microbial diversity. The goal was to use these microorganisms as indicators of soil pollution.
Photosynthetic soil microbial communities, from various agricultural soil, were exposed to a concentration gradient of two commercially available pesticides, and to their active molecules (isoproturon and methsulfuronmethyl). Impact on microorganisms were measured by different biomarkers, such as the chlorophyll concentration in the soil microcosms and the activities of various extracellular enzymes.
Moreover, microbial biodiversity in the microcosms was measured by microscopic identification. Exposition to the pesticides was performed after 3 weeks of growth of the microbial communities in soil microcosms
  • INRA - Research Laboratory Technician

Paris 2012 - 2012 Summer job to the french national institute for Agronomical research (INRA, Orléans, France) in the research team "Soil science". My objectives, as a laboratory technician, were to performed various laboratory and field work in environmental sciences, in order to contribute to different research projects in the fields of soil sciences, biology, ecology and agronomy.
Soil manipulation/ IR spectroscopy/ gaz measurment
  • INRA - Research Laboratory Technician

Paris 2011 - 2011 Summer job to the french national institute for Agronomical research (INRA, Orléans, France) in the research team "Soil science".
My objectives, as a laboratory technician, were to performed various laboratory and field work in environmental sciences and soil science, in order to contribute to different research projects in the fields of soil sciences, biology, ecology and agronomy.
  • Laboratory Research Assistant, Internship (Stage DUT) - Technicien de recherche stagiaire

2011 - 2011 3 months internship to the University of Quebec in Abitibi-Témiscamingue as young researcher and laboratory assistant (Canada, Supervisor: Professor, Annie DesRochers) The aim of this internship was to investigate the reforestation of a mine site in boreal Forest. The studied mine site is a gold surface mine in the Canadian city of Malartic (Québec, AbitibiTémiscamingue). My job assignments were to lead different experiments in order to select the best tree specie that can grow on the mine spoil tip. Moreover, it was necessary to measure heavy metal concentrations in the soil which came to the spoil tip, and to select the best treatment to make this soil favorable to the growth of selected trees. Heavy metal concentrations were measured by ICPOES. Experimentations were performed in laboratory and in situ, in the boreal forest.
  • INRA - Research Technician

Paris 2010 - 2010 Summer job to the french national institute for Agronomical research (INRA, Orléans, France) in the department of "Forestry Ecology, Grassland and Freshwater Ecology".
My objectives, as a field and laboratory technician in plant biology, were to performed various laboratory and field work in environmental sciences, in order to contribute to different research projects in the fields of biology, forestry, ecology and agronomy.
  • INRA - Research Technician

Paris 2009 - 2009 Summer job to the french national institute for Agronomical research (INRA, Orléans, France) in the department of "Forestry Ecology, Grassland and Freshwater Ecology".
