  • Vari'UP - Vari'UP Founder / Designer / Paragliding equipment

2015 - maintenant In addition to my current position in Schlumberger and as paragliding enthusiast, I launched my own brand of paragliding equipment.
In partnership with one of the top 3 french shop, I started working on products such as variometers, connected glasses, fly improvement systems, stabilized cameras (follow cams),...

I design concepts and prototypes, fully engineer products (mechanical / electrical / firmware), validate products ( metrology / ageing / certifications), manage manufacturing in partnership with SCAITA and marketing / financial aspects with the Rid'Air shop.
New technology, new concepts, fully optimized process and cost control are the main keys of these 100% french made products.

  • Schlumberger - Tech&field / Manara electrical engineer / Oil and gas products

Paris 2014 - maintenant Manara Completions project, electronic and sensors development, France.

The Manara production and reservoir management system is an intelligent completion system that enables operators to monitor and control multiple zones continuously, simultaneously, and in real time—for the first time, irrespective of the length of the wellbore. Informed field development strategies for optimizing production and recovery can thus be devised and implemented.

Part of a project team and strong of my field experience, my activities are mainly focused on watercut / flow / pressure / temperature monitoring systems embedded in the Manara permanent monitoring and control system. Based on new Schlumberger technologies, systems are highly reliable and made for downhole conditions.

In addition of engineering tasks, I'm following an advance cross-training / coach internships working on new product development and support successful field tests operations.

  • Schlumberger Oilfield Services - Tech & Field / Completions Field Engineer / Oil and Gas

    Al-Khobar 2012 - 2014 Tech&Field Engineer program, Saudi Arabia

Part of my Tech&Field program, I was working as Completions field engineer supervisor in Khobar, Saudi Arabia for two years.

With a strong electronic background, I installed and ran Intelligent completions systems and permanent downhole monitoring systems in oil/gas wells.

From 2012 to 2014, I supervised and installed SLB technologies on the following fields (30 wells) : SFNY,SHYB,UTMN,FDHL,QTIF,KHRS,DMM,BRRI,HRDH,ANDR,ABQQ,MNIF,KRSN.

Land / offshore, workovers and new wells.

Completions including permanent monitoring system (Remote control/Flow control valves / packers / gauges / optical fiber / hydraulic wetmate / hydraulic control lines / downhole equipment / Surface units / ESP (3rd company) / open hole packers (3rd company)).

These new technologies are improving production reservoir recovery (water cut/downhole pressure) and reduce well interventions.

Managing 3 to 8 workers/engineers team and third company operations in onshore or offshore rigs, time, client expectations and technologies in hard conditions was a challenge I enjoyed every single day in this high activity area.

Part of an experiences field engineers team, I was involved in new projects developed by SLB in partnership with Saudi Aramco.
  • Continental Automotive - Apprentice Engineer / Multimedia systems

Toulouse 2009 - 2012 Continental Automotive is one of the biggest electronic and tires car parts manufacturer.
Working at Continental Automotive Rambouillet in an R&D department, I was developing / testing / integrating new embedded systems as multimedia systems, A-Call / B-Call, radios, navigating systems.
  • CNRS Strasbourg UMR7516 (sismology unit) - Engineer Assistant (Program CASE)

2009 - 2009 Involved in the design of the CASE International Polar Year project equipments.

The Case-IPY project is a French contribution to the 2007-2009 International Polar Year (IPY) in seismology. The aim of IPY is to favor an intensive burst of internationally coordinated, interdisciplinary, scientific research and observations focused on the Earth's polar regions.
Activities will be focused on deployment of autonomous observatories at remote sites on the continents and offshore, coordinated with measurements made at permanent station observatories.

Design ( power supply, acquisition control, set up) and preparation of the CASE seismic equipment.

  • Institut Polaire Français - IPEV - In charge of Martin De Viviès geophysics observatory (magnetics, sismology), Amsterdam Island, TAAF

2007 - 2009 In charge of the sismology and magnetic program on Amsterdam Island (French Southern Lands) for 12 months.
    Maesures and datas processing.
    Instrumentation and electronics.
    Fully isolated life conditions.
