4 years of experience in design support, contracting, institutional capacity building, and technical, operational, administrative and financial monitoring of projects implemented by local and / or international organizations (Desk Officer and Country Coordinator for Donor)
3 years of experience in rural development surveys and projects evaluations: Exploratory surveys, project assessments, food security and agricultural situation analyse, external project evaluator, in 9 different countries in Sub-Saharan Africa, South-east Asia and Balkans.
13 years of field experience in planning, implementation, and monitoring of rural development, natural resources management, livelihoods,food security, emergency and recovery projects, of which more than 9 years in senior management position;

- Agriculture including animal production and rural development, local development, natural resources management, livelihoods and food security;
- Situation analysis, livelihood, food security and socio-economical surveys;
- Relief project management;
- Strategic planning, programme identification, strategy development, logical framework and institutional set-up design;
- Project and Programme Cycle Management (PCM);
- Project administration, contract management, planning, budgeting, monitoring, self-assessment, evaluation;
- Partnerships and support to local organizations;
- Workshop moderation, training organisation, methodology and implementation, with emphasis on participatory approaches, gender issues, HIV AIDS mainstreaming, institutional development and sustainability;
- Natural resources management approach and implementation.
Experienced in EC projects, knowledge of EDF regulation and procedures.
