    2013 - 2015 _Manage a R&D team of 4 researchers and 6 technicians. Sustain 45 M$ dollars sales activity by working in close collaboration with business unit and successful launch new products in the marketplace.
    _ Ensure to meet stage-gate deadline, deliverable and return of investment for 3 product platforms. Report to the steering committee and president of abrasive at least twice a year.
    _ Supervise platform scale up and technology transfer across regions: North America, Europe and Asia. Work closely with manufacturing, supply chain to support new product introduction, maintain world class manufacturing standard and customer satisfaction.
    _Consolidate intellectual property strategy by managing new and prior patents portfolio. Develop comprehensive knowledge on competitive products.
    _ Initiate cross-functional internal and outside collaboration with university (MIT, UcDavis, University of south Illinois,…) and supplier (raw materials, process,..) .
    _ Responsible of maintaining good practices and high research standards in a laboratory environment.

    Peer recognition for the innovative approach and customer focus across the entire company by receiving the 1st award granted during the internal St Gobain research seminar in 2014.

  • Saint gobain North America - Senior Research Engineer

    2011 - 2013 _Technical team leader for organic abrasive products. Supervision of 2 technicians.
    _Design and implement new cost/performances solutions from laboratory to manufacturing to customer evaluation.
    _Successfully implement a new large diameter cut-off platform, with enhanced phenolic binder thermal properties Increased market share and consolidate a critical 10M$ annual worldwide sale.
    _Work closely with manufacturing to troubleshoot industrial variability and ensure commercial viability.
    _Maintain a high level of innovation with a condensed evaluation of new raw materials ( bio polymer, flame retardants, polyimide, abrasive grains..), and technical collaborations.

  • Arkema - Research Scientist

    Colombes 2009 - 2011 _Develop innovative polymer emulsion formulations oriented to the paints, adhesives and coatings industries.
    _Support technical development of acrylic polymer latex with enhanced mechanical properties and synthesized by controlled radical polymerization (Arkema technology).
    _Transfer and platform scale up to pilot size for feasibility evaluation.
    _Responsible of HSE on a 4 people type laboratory.

    2006 - 2006 _European project sponsored by Airbus to design actuators for aeronautic applications based on carbon nanotubes technology.
    _Evaluation of hybrid organic dendrimer and modified carbon nanotube that display advanced piezoelectric properties

  • Commissariat à l'énergie atomique (CEA) - Ingénieur Chimiste R&D

    2005 - 2005 _ Development for the automobile industry of a polymer vessel for the storage of hydrogen in hyperbar pressure.
    _ Development of plastic solutions in collaboration with local thermoset suppliers to design an innovative tank able to safely transport hydrogen and sustain new mobile fuel cell technology.
    _File of an european patent based on the in situ production of a polyurethane vessel processed by rotational molding.
