ATLANTA
Visual artist and college professor of art & design foundation teaching at the Art Institute of Atlanta and Clark Atlanta University. Received a masters degree in graphic design & visual communication from ITAAUT-Tunisia, a diploma of clothing design from AFPA Cherbourg, France, à masters of applied arts and a doctorate in visual arts from the renowned Sorbonne University , Paris France.
Worked for a decade as a professional artist at the Parisian art district , Montmartre where he quickly gained recognition as one of Paris most distinguished portrait artists.
Throughout over twenty five years of expertise Saidi had created thousands of portraits and paintings for patrons from around the globe. Some of his signature artworks include:
- “Universal Godfather of Soul, James Brown, a 4ftx5ft acrylic portrait which won several top awards then was displayed next to J. Brown coffin and broadcasted worldwide, currently in the permanent collection of Lucy Laney Museem in August GA. USA.
- Chosen to paint from live-modeling the portrait of Miss America 2008, Ms Kristin Hagland.
- A portrait of legendary American actor, Charles Bronson .
Saidi’s artwork has been broadcasted on several major TV channels including CNN, NBC, FOX, Aljazeera and Tunisia National Tv..
