Christian has had rich experiences in many different countries in areas as diverse as marketing, HR, finance, BD, organizational development and for the last 10 years general management. At 43 – he decided to leave a country manager position in a large international group to seize what he saw as a unique opportunity in the mobile online to offline industry.
He has lived for the last 9 years in China – a place he is passionate about.

    2011 - maintenant WALKIN is an iphone and IOS application that let's users win free gift and exclusive deals simply for walking in great stores in China. It uses a unique technology that transforms real world images into internet buttons that can be activated through smartphones. The platform is currently in test with over 600 stores in Shanghai, Beijing, Guanzhou and Shenzhen and great brands like New Balance, Lee, Etam, Agatha, OVS, Oasis, Dickies, 2%, FC Salons, Frank Prouvost and soon many more.     Walkin has launched "iBeacon" to all its stores in February 2014 - being the first to deploy this "hot" technology in China (only one month after it is launched at Macy's and Apple stores in the US). We are also working on the integration of m-Payment solutions directly into the app.

  • Lafarge - Leader for Tomorrow - Corporate Transformation - Project Manager

    Paris 2002 - 2005 Lead the Lafarge Group corporate transformation project under the leadership of Bruno Lafont - newly appointed CEO of the Group. The Leader for Tomorrow project was a 3 year transformation project involving over 70,000 people - which was geared to create a new approach to performance and to customer orientation after a serie of major acquisitions.
  • Lafarge - CEO INDONESIE

    Paris 1997 - 2002 Operational and strategic responsibilities of a 1.5 MT cement operation including a manufacturing plant in Aceh, and a network of terminals and vessels throughout Sumatra. Achievements included restructuring and managing operations in quasi civil-war context
