I have been incorporated with TOTAL ( Pazflor Project) to the inspection department as a QC inspector. My mission was to follow the manufacturer FLEXIFRANCE for IPB (Integrated Production Bundle) Flexible risers/ Flowlines / flextails/ Jumpers and there accessories, GE Masoneilan for Valves, manufacturing of bend-stiffeners at BARDO, end fittings at FTV, bend restrictors at LACMIL, HDC, pull in heads, latching mechanism (BSF/BSHD), handling frame, wet parking frame, valve inspection, bend restrictors, anodes, buoy, buoy clamp...

Responsible EH&S/QA manager for the direction and implementation of Quality Policy, Quality Objectives, ISO 9001 as required by the Quality Management System. Project QC Inspection co-coordinator responsible a variety of business and program assignments with in cross-functional teams, executive sponsors, and steering committees. Projects encompassed all lines of business within customer internal and external quality requirements. Responsibilities included supporting both strategic and operational priorities and objectives.
Directly supervised, evaluated, trained and directed eleven Quality and Risk Engineers in the development of program Quality Assurance functions for various projects.

I have been involved with technical support planning and risk analysis as an IMR supervisor (Inspection, Maintenance and Repair) for many years and am highly experienced in all aspects of the offshore flexible pipe industry. Plastic Specialist in Manufacturing of flexible pipes
This department was in charge of developing new production processes. I've have been involved with the evolution of the external sheath repair process. Our goal was to find a new plastic welding process in order to get repairs on flowlines and risers done efficiently and reliably. At the time plastic welding was a very unreliable process and it was my project was to develop new and better techniques. This has been achieved with the development of a portable extruder which is now common place on most offshore projects. I developed this procedure and it was proven by hard sample testing and approval by the relevant authorities. Since then I've been in charge for the technician training and qualification. Thus I am extremely knowledgeable in the field of flexible pipe repairs.

Quality Control in Manufacturing of flexible pipes
At the time Coflexip was a worldwide leader in the field of flexible pipe manufacturing. Since then the products and industry has evolved with clients needs. Being part of the quality control process of flexible pipe manufacturing gave me useful knowledge and insight on all the products and procedures. I was fortunate enough to be involved with the Norsk Hydro Troll Project for most of my time as Quality Control Technician. The process of quality control gave me the chance to understand the manufacturing of the flexible pipe from the start to the pressure test at the end. It was a good start in the flexible pipes world.
During this period, I have been trained on NDT level 2 (MPI and DPI). I was involved in ultrasonic thickness control, x-ray (Gamma), tensile tests on plastic and wires, hardness test on weld and materials...
