    Rueil-Malmaison 2012 - 2014
    Responsible of development and management of the Port-Sunlight R&D Laboratory (Personal and Home Care technologies).
    Key achievements :
    - Created site long term vision and strategy aligned with business needs, R&D overall strategy and future trends and engaged site leaders in a major change program. Approach subsequently rolled out to all other major sites:
    - Engaged the site into major development program of leading edge technical capabilities including High Throughput Science, Innovative manufacturing, Fragrance and Consumers Holistic Product Design.
    - Engaged the site in development of strong external partnerships within local ecosystem to build scientific capabilities, leveraging co-investment and doubling our grants level. .

  • Unilever - Global R&D director Laundry

    Rueil-Malmaison 2005 - 2011 - Responsible of global R&D for the Fabric Conditioners category. (700 M€)
    - Responsible of global R&D for the brand SKIP (from 2009). (300 M€)
    - Leader of a team of about 45 people across two sites (Port-Sunlight, UK and Mumbai, India).

    Key achievements:
    - Moved the Fabric Conditioners category in partnership with Marketing and Supply Chain, from a declining category to one of the fastest growing category within Unilever.
    - Established key pillars to build new premium Landry brand SKIP and successfully delivered to market superior products

  • Unilever - Regional R&D Director Hair and Oral Europe

    Rueil-Malmaison 2000 - 2005 - Head of Hair European Technical Centre
    - Responsible of Hair and Oral R&D Europe
    - Leader of a team of about 40 people across two sites (Compiegne, France; Casale, Italy)

    Key achievements:
    - Has ensured successful transition of the Compiegne R&D site from Global Innovation Centre to European Deploy centre recognised as best practise across categories.
    - Harmonised brand portfolio and defined and launched portfolio of innovations into market driving growth and profitability.

  • Unilever - Formulation development manager in Hair Innovation Centre

    Rueil-Malmaison 1996 - 2000 Responsible of formulation development for the brand Organics.

    Key achievements:
    - Has successfully delivered three global re-launches of the brand associating strong hair root nourishment claims and delivery of consumer perceivable benefits.
    - Has delivered and launched step change technologies in Hair Conditioners and Shampoos in close partnerships with suppliers moving from inferiority to clear superiority vs Pantene.

  • Unilever - Research manager in Hair laboratory

    Rueil-Malmaison 1993 - 1995 In charge of two research projects on hair styling mousse and hair conditioning shampoo.

    Key achievements:
    - Invented predictive model and step change technology in styling mousse rolled out afterward across all key markets. 3 patents filed.
    - Invented step change polymer deposition technology in shampoos. 1 patent filed.
