En résumé

I am a passionate mechanical engineer, specialized on laser machines conception and development. I am details oriented, organized and I am able to work “hands-on” with project applications.

I studied at IFMA (l’Institut Français de Mécanique Avancé) in France, where I attended many classes about the innovation and the conception of machines, with a special focus on project management and machines’ sizing.

I am really into laser technology and I decided to take up a career on it. That is why all my internships were in companies specialized in laser machines’ conception and development. I worked for a French laser SME focused on laser cutting, for LASEA in Bordeaux and for the R&D office of SISMA Laser in Italy. All these experiences have improved my skills and my knowledge in project management and laser technology.

  • SISMA SPA - Ingénieur conception mécanique

    2015 - maintenant As Mechanical Design Engineer I work closely with optical and electronic engineers on designing new solutions for housing, mounting and cooling optical and electronic components for laser machines and laser sources (marking and welding). In details:

    - Design products made of CNC machined and sheet metal parts and plastics (High level in CAD software Solidworks and Solidwork’s FEM )
    - Preparation of mechanical BOMs (ERP Infor LN and Solidworks PDM)
    - Collaboration with the purchase department and directly with suppliers to develop cost effective manufacturing solutions for parts and subassemblies (sourcing new suppliers if needed)
    - Assembly of prototype, not only for mechanical parts but also for optics (glue lens with UV glue on cleaning room) and electronic parts.
    - Development of assembly instruction for the production department on transfer-to-production
    - Support the production department in case of problems and ameliorations

  • SISMA SPA - Stage projet ingénieur

    2015 - 2015 Stage ingénieur de 6 mois
    Attribution de projets personnels en collaboration avec l’ensemble de l’équipe du département technique. Etude et conception d’un axe de rotation supplémentaire pour les machines de marquages : gestion du projet de l’élaboration du CdC, conception, à la réalisation des tests. Elaboration de la partie mécanique d’un prototype de cavité Nd YAG en collaboration avec des spécialistes du laser. Intégration d’éléments opto-mécaniques au sein de machines pour le traitement du faisceau.

    Student's strong points:
    1) High capacity to work in team
    2) Optimistic response to new challenge and ability to deal stressful situations
    3) Strong capacity to analyze problem and to find a technical solution in a short time

    Points requiring improvement;
    1) Improvement are needed in the soft skill, for example, to be more sure about his technical choices and defend solutions "against" colleagues or to say personal opinion also when the requirements is not tn line with the project or planning, but this is something that can be learn only with the job experience.

  • Lasea - Stage Assistant Ingénieur R&D

    Angleur 2014 - 2014 J'ai participé à des projets de R&D liés au trajet optique des faisceaux laser depuis la source jusqu’à la pièce à usiner. Plus particulièrement j’ai apporté une aide à l’équipe R&D concernant la conception d’une nouvelle tête de micro-usinage, d’un module de gestion du faisceau, et de plusieurs éléments opto-mécaniques, dans un but de standardisation de produit et d’amélioration de la stabilité du faisceau. J'ai participais également au montage des prototypes, aux tests de nouvelles fonctionnalités.

  • Laser 2000 O 3000 - Stage en production

    2013 - 2013 Travail au sein du service de Conception et Fabrication Assistées par Ordinateur : prise de responsabilité, travail en équipe avec l’ensemble de l’entreprise, adaptation au logiciel PN4000 de Wicam et opérateur sur des machines de découpe laser et découpe jet d’eau.
