2009 - maintenant
In the position of administrator, I am in charge of the telecommunication systems for the Roquette Company:
- the faxes servers (around 30000 faxes sent by month)
- videoconference endpoints (around 40 devices) and infrastructure devices.
- 31 sites interconnected thanks to MPLS accesses managed by Orange Business Services.
- Alcatel voice infrastructure (almost 5000 sets)
Next to the technical activities, my job also involves :
- Change management (scheduling, communication, technical assistance)
- Level 3 incidents/problems resolution and tracking
- Training to the Level 2 teams in France and in the United States of America
- Delegation of technical activities and changes to the L2 support
- Creation of documents written in English only for the level 2 teams
- Reporting based on availabililty/performance indicators
- Excellent relationship capacity with local teams or external partners in case of incident resolution or new deployments
Furthermore, I also work as a backup on many others network solutions (ex: Cisco 3750, 3550, 2950, 2960, Nexus 7000, 5000, 2000, Firewall ASA, 881, ISA, Expand accelerators, NNMi, Cacti, DHCP, Juniper SA 4000).
End of 2010:
Trip close to Memphis (Tennessee) in order to work with the local integrator called Genesis. The goal of this mission was to prepare the migration of the existing phone architecture (Avaya) to a new VOIP Alcatel infrastructure (around 500 IP phones in 2 production sites, 1 office and 3 warehouses). My goals were to:
- provide the required informations to the integrator (network specificities, dialing plan, call routing, etc..)
- ensure that the configuration complied with our requirements
- communicate with the Roquette teams
- write some exploitation documents, participate to the configuration
- realize some tests in a non production environnement.
From 2011 to 2013
In relationship with Alcatel-Lucent architects, I participated to the creation, decision, validation about the content of 2 documents (Low Level Design and High Level Design) in order to have 2 referentials about the design and functionnalities of the new phone infrastructure for the production sites.
In 2012, I was the technical referent about the migration of 3 production sites in France with our european partner (Nextiraone) to a centralised infrastructure (CS, Media Gateway, PCS) which contains around 3500 sets. I also was in charge of the migration of our Italian production site to this infrastructure (250 IP phones, 250 DECT).
This year, I will work on the US infrastructure again in order to make it compliant with the Alcatel documents and migrate 1 production site in UK and another one in Spain. 2014 will be dedicated to the chinese sites.
During 2012, with our partner Orange Business Services, we upgraded the bandwidth and routers of all the MPLS sites. As the administrator, this project required:
- the tracking of the changes
- scheduling the migration with Orange and the Roquette international teams on site.
- Write check lists to follow after migration.
- communicate with the monitoring team.
Since 2013, I am the technical referent for the WIFI network based on Juniper Networks (Trapeze Networks) including 4 MXs, Guest management and more than 100 access points deployed in Europe (France, Spain, Italy, UK, Germany, Netherland, Finland, etc..), Americas (USA and Mexico) and Asia (China, Japan, India, Singapore, South Korea, etc...)
