- Management of contractor site & technical queries, deviation requests: review and consolidation with site specialists (and HQ when required). Ensure they comply with project and Total specifications.
- Insure engineering documentation is reviewed in a timely manner (IFC and ASB)
- Anticipate and correct engineering issues whenever possible
- Attend planning and scheduling. Identify and report to the project planning engineer inconsistencies and potential problems
- Insure all activities are well prepared (safety concerns, risk mitigation measures, logistics, co-activities, etc.) and all required relevant work permits have been applied for and issued
- Follow up of site day to day activities, ease the communication process between all of the different groups (contractor, project & production team)
- Provide daily & weekly reports outlining activities of sites where upgrade activity is in progress (SIMOPS & non SIMOPS)

- Congo / Nkossa – pre-project study: Gas debottlecnecking and optimization of C5+ recovery. Verification of piping and equipments, process packages (Twister, compressors, Drizo®) check with vendors, flare system check, P&IDs and ESD logic diagrams update.
- Congo / Nkossa – Affiliate assistance: determine NKP process production capacity in downgraded mode (one production flexible instead of two, due to the May 2007 accident. Piping and flexible check with vendor and TEC/PLR.
- Congo / Yanga – conceptual study: Flaring reduction and new electricity generation. Design compressor and utility systems.
- SPOT 1 / PTR 1 process leader: Alwyn LLP
