In 2015, I was graduated in biomedical research. I spent one year in a biomedical research laboratory as engineer assistant. My interest in teaching raise the question of my career plan. Thereby, I decided to involved myself in teenager supervision and be a teacher's assistant and a middle school supervisor. After almost one year rewarding experiment in middle and high school I decided to come back to science research.

    PARIS 13 2015 - 2016 Team " Dyslipidemia and lipotoxicity "

    The type 2 Berardinelli-Seip lipodystrophy is a rare disease affecting the Bscl2 gene coding for the seipin protein. BSCL2 disease have major consequences on the adipose tissue metabolism and integrity.

    My work consisted to investigate the consequences of the knock down of the Bscl2 gene expression in a new model of differentiated mature adipocytes. We researched for the cellular signalisation involved, protein partners of the seipin and the involvement of calcium and lipid homeostasis in the phenotype.

    Characterization of the new cellular model of inducible knock down of the Bscl2 gene by shRNA in infected 3T3-L1. Validation of the model formed by cell phenotype, gene expression profile and cell viability. First search for signaling pathways involved (i.e. calcium).

    Formation of a mature adipocyte seipin KD cellular model.

    The type 2 Berardinelli-Seip lipodystrophy is a rare disease affecting the Bscl2 gene coding for the seipin protein. BSCL2 disease have major consequences on the adipose tissue metabolism and integrity.

    My work consisted in the formation of a new cellular model of adipocyte with an inducible knock down of the Bscl2 gene by lentiviral infection of 3T3L1 cells.
