Currently employed in Algeria, previous international experiences in Dubai and Vietnam. Specialized in start-up of local branches and projects’ offices, solid knowledge of GAAP as well as cost control's system. Fluency in English, Italian and French, basic knowledge of Arabic

I consider myself as a hands-on manager, but at the same time I am open to new ideas and suggestions. I do believe that motivate my staff is the best way to obtain results, and I always try to deal with potential problems in a tactful and diplomatic way. I am firmly convinced that a lot more can be achieved through cooperation than through conflict. By the way, I am very results-driven and expect every member of my team to do the best to achieve company’s goals.

    Tasks

    • Start-up of the Joint Venture Project Office in Ho Chi Minh City
    • Overseeing a team of around 15 people covering payroll, costing, inventory, payable, receivable and general ledger
    • Preparation of monthly P&L, Balance Sheet, Cost Control report and related reports including meaningful commentary
    • Preparation of monthly VAT and other regulatory returns
    • Timely production of statutory and internal financial reports
    • Participate in the development of annual budget and cash flow
    • Mentor and develop the Finance team, managing work allocation, training, problem resolution, performance evaluation
    • Ensure that effective internal controls are in place and ensure compliance with GAAP, local laws and HQ’s procedures
    • Provide executive management with advice and recommendations on the financial implications of business activities
