    Objectives:
    To train a junior Millenium's engineer, Pierre-Yves CAYLA, to replace me concerning my previous Fusion Neutronics activities.
    Co-author of "TRIPOLI-4® Monte Carlo code ITER A-lite neutronic model validation".
  • CEA Saclay - Fusion Neutronics R&D Engineer

    Gif-sur-Yvette 2009 - 2012 In EUROBREED program of the EFDA (European Fusion Development Agreement), neutronics work on the European concept of fusion reactor demonstrator DEMO-HCLL (helium-cooled, lithium-lead breeder) based on TRIPOLI-4 and MCNP5 neutronics Monte-Carlo codes.

    3 years program, in which 3 mobilities outside France :
    - 2 months work applying TRIPOLI-4 on Frascati Neutron generator benchmarks at ENEA Frascati, Italy.
    - 2 months work benchmarking MCNP5/TRIPOLI-4 and creating TRANSGEN code (neutron source RZ maps for high and advanced modes) at the Karsruhe Institute of Technology, Germany.
    - 2 months work again at ENEA Frascati to set up Fortran neutron source subroutines for FNG suited for TRIPOLI-4 code on the basis of existing MCNP5 ones. Benchmarking between the 2 MC codes.

    1st author of :
    - "Numerical benchmarks TRIPOLI − MCNP with use of MCAM on FNG ITER bulk shield and FNG HCLL TBM mock-up experiments" ;
    - "Tokamak D-T neutron source models for different plasma physics confinement modes".

    Paris La Defense 2007 - 2009 In AREVA NC, Business Unit Engineering (SGN)

    Author of technical reports :

    * Project "Chinese Reprocessing Facilities"
    - 1st phase : author of 4 of the 9 technical reports (Basic Design, Site Layout Description, Utilities, Waste and Effluents)
    - 2nd phase : author of the head-process facilites documents
    (Dry / Wet Unloading and associated liquid & solid waste treatment)

    Work on optimization for 2020 European Reprocessing facilities
