In charge of promoting French books and French-speaking authors in Romania.
Set up yearly programming of the book department: organized and promoted book-related events, developed partnerships, assessed the efficiency of the projects.
In collaboration with publishers, universities, or non-profit organizations, invited 20 French authors to Romania to present their latest books, or to participate to specialized symposia or book fairs. Elaborated their program, organized conferences, set up press interviews and book signing sessions.
Helped the 4 French multimedia libraries to increase cultural mediation projects and to continue with the digitalization of contents and material for users.
Handled the various support programs (grants, subsidies, residencies…) for Romanian professionals.
Wrote reports for the Embassy of France in Romania and attended official events at the Embassy.
Achievements: Dedicated time to conceive cross-disciplinary cultural and educational projects (book industry, theater, visual arts…), in order to reach out to a new audience and increase the French Institute’s visibility. Participated to the reorganization of the multimedia library of Bucharest and managed the national project The Young Learners’ Library in all 4 multimedia libraries of the country in 2017.

In charge of promoting academic and extracurricular lists to teachers (online and offline materials):
Created communication materials (POS material in bookshops, advertising in specialized magazines, interviews with the authors of the textbooks).
Executed the promotional strategy on social media (Facebook, Twitter, Youtube) and the website.
Participated to book fairs to present the new textbooks to teachers.
Achievements: Organized a “Creative writing” contest, with the participation of a hundred schools; conceived an interactive ”2.0” version of the contest for 2016.

Executed communication campaigns (print, radio&TV advertising, web) for the release of new titles: conceived artworks for print and online visibility, developed cross-marketing partnerships, communicated on social media, got in touch with bloggers and help with online promotion.
Created communication materials for the sales team: sales pitches, leaflets, POS material in bookshops.
Conceived presentations accompanying financial offers made to hardcover publishers for new titles.
Participated to book fairs and go to festivals and signing sessions with the authors.
Achievements: Created a mini website with the web designer, or a promotional project dedicated to Belgian writer Georges Simenon. In charge of the Sci-Fi&Fantasy Facebook page: increased followers by 2.5 – from 7 000 to 18 000 fans.

Organized the second edition of the event VIBE (VEGEPOLYS International Business Event), an international two-day convention for firms and organizations of the plant sector.
Conducted surveys amongst members of the cluster to understand and analyze their international business needs and projects
Identified relevant foreign firms from targeted geographic areas and contacted them (e-mailing and phoning in English/Spanish/French) to invite them to the event
Managed and coordinated the day-to-day tasks with private and institutional partners: prepared and led the meetings, wrote minutes, created follow-up documents for regular updates to partners, elaborated communication materials.
In charge of the logistics and budget.
External communication actions: received foreign delegations and introduced them to the cluster.
Achievements: Created differentiated communication materials to improve understanding of the event according to the targeted group (in three languages). Dealt with 30 foreign participants from 13 different countries: provided individualized follow-up and attention to each participant and put them in contact with 200 French firms. Coordinated a complex and multipurpose project requiring a good understanding of the plant sector; worked autonomously and managed to find the right interlocutors to get information from. Gained valuable knowledge of both the public/institutional sector and the business world; improved communication, interpersonal and cross-cultural skills.

Organized the 14th Race Against Hunger, an annual campaign and fundraiser in French middle schools.
Prospected for new middle schools to join the project,promoted the project amongst directors, trained volunteers and met with students to raise awareness of malnutrition.
Coordinated the administrative and logistical aspects of the project.
Helped to create new communication materials and information leaflets targeting students.
Organized a “Big Race” in a park in Paris (Jardin du Luxembourg), with 1200 participants and a staff of 40 people.
Achievements: Established long term relationships with various stakeholders (volunteers, students, high -school directors) and increased ACF’s visibility. Supported ACF’s fight and communicated its values. Managed a one-year project and understood the logic of project management. Gained deep knowledge of team work and team-building purposes. Great commitment to an organization’s activities and mission. Learnt how to convincingly present a product/ a project to external interlocutors and how to efficiently convey an idea.
