  • Chromatotec - Product Manager: Gas Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry

    Saint-Antoine 2015 - maintenant Responsible for product management of Gas Chromatographs and Mass spectrometers. This includes developing and managing existing GC, GC-MS and MS product lines. In addition, working in collaboration with Operations, IT team and CEO to define product line cost reduction programs to improve overall margin performance while fulfilling or exceeding customer requirements and expectations in a competitive landscape.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
    • Select product features, develop value propositions, and validate with customers and CEO.
    • Define product roadmap and ensure it is regularly updated. Responsible for all aspects of product performance throughout the life of the product.
    • Responsible for the development of new analytical systems and applications (laboratory and field tests).
    • Responsible for managing start-up of new systems at the customer site.
    • Responsible for the training of Customer Service engineers and distributors for installation and maintenance of analytical systems.
    • Responsible for delivering technical presentations to the sales organization as well as to key customers.
    • Ensure material is prepared and ready for all seminars/shows/conferences. Also, creates spec sheets, brochures, customer benefit documents, and web pages.

  • Chromatotec - Research engineer / Project manager

    Saint-Antoine 2013 - 2015 Responsible for developing new analyzers and turnkey solutions. Also in charge of developping and maintaining commercially productive relationships with both clients and distributors.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
    - Developing new products and turnkey solutions
    - Collaborate with university to develop new products and supervising graduated students
    - Promote the company brand to key buyers, ensuring their knowledge is current and appropriate
    - Generating new business in face to face meetings, conferences and over the phone
    - Writing up concise, value,based sales proposals
    - Writing up sales reports, activity reports and revenue forecasts
    - Completing all documentation and administrative records, fully and accurately
    - Developing and maintaining a database of all contacts

  • PhD at CNRS - PhD

    2009 - 2012 The subject of my PhD is on the design and applications of metal and polymer-structured surfaces produced using colloids. Specifically, the work examines the resulting organization and deposition onto conductive substrates of colloidal materials in the presence of an applied AC/DC electrical field. We have shown that this technique allows the production of superhydrophobic surfaces and arrays of micro-electrodes. Also specific and controlled protein immobilization on ordered surfaces has been achieved. This work has been patented and part of it has been published in Soft Matter and Langmuir.
