I successfully implemented agile methodologies into Europcar's eCommerce team improving the communication between business and IT teams and increasing the pace of the applications deliveries.

This experience along with my synthesis, organizational skills and team spirit led me to get managerial responsabilities for the improvements and business support of the eCommerce portfolio.

  • Europcar - E-Commerce IT Manager

    Montigny-le-Bretonneux 2015 - maintenant • Leading an eCommerce IT team (15 persons) including both internal resources and IT consultants which improve the eCommerce application portfolio
    • Driving eCommerce projects studies and realization phases establishing projects workload plans and presentations to the IT committee. Reporting to IT directors and business owners showing the project highlights, cost and alerts
    • Guarantying the performance and availability of the application portfolio supervising technical optimizations tasks required by IT architects and communicating performance KPIs to the business (response time, web sites availability)
    • Piloting the Third Party Application Maintenance contract with monthly committees and organizing the contract renewal with supplier’s manager, Europcar’s legal and purchasing departments (forecasted: 2000m/d and 1M€ over 2 years)

  • Europcar - ECommerce Scrum Master

    Montigny-le-Bretonneux 2013 - 2014 • Managing a scrum team: 10 members of Europcar staff and Third Party Application Maintenance supplier organizing the scrum ceremonies (retrospectives, demos, planning poker) communicating KPI and reports on the team activity to the business and IT managers.
    • Organizing the incidents treatment by the team members respecting the SLAs expected by the customers.
    • Planning the applications deliveries: coordination with business product managers, project managers and other domains. Insure the respect of the development standards defined by IT architects.
    • Leading the web sites automated testing process using Quality Center’s QTP and production continuous deliveries.
    • Participating to brainstorming meetings on the definition of an inter-domains agile process based on Kanban used for transversal IT projects management.
  • Europcar - Application TPAM Pilot

    Montigny-le-Bretonneux 2010 - 2013 * Improving eCommerce applications including the main B2C websites maintained by a
    near shore Third Party Application Maintenance supplier (TPAM).
    * Collecting the business requirements to write detailed technical specifications and
    qualification documents on projects and change requests.
    * Level 2 support to users in the corporate countries (West Europe and Australia).
    * Administrator on several tools auditing java applications quality of code (CAST,
    Sonar). Delivering audit reports to java developers and supplier.
    * Analyze of java logs and apps profiling (JProfiler, AppDynamics) to analyze bugs and
    increase websites performances.

    • Study of the solution, workload estimation and planning of the project (3 developers)

    • Overhaul of the cashing operations (customers bank account movements).
    • Removal of the VAT fees in the customers bank operation calculations. Change in the interest charges calculation algorithm.
