As Managing Director, Dorothy Leab is responsible for the overall strategy and management of GaneshAID, a Nonprofit consulting company: disease prevention and health promotion, human resources for health, and technology for public health. Dorothy is also responsible to develop strategic partnerships with the public, NGO and private sectors. As a senior Human Resources for Health specialist, she provides consulting and training services. Prior to joining GaneshAID, Dorothy has worked in public health and immunization with the Agence de Médecine Preventive (INGO).
In her assignment, she acted as Country Representative in Vietnam and led the Human Resources for Health Program. She has over twenty years of experience in designing and managing successful public health projects in the fields of epidemiology, immunization, health promotion, health logistics, instructional system design, and health advocacy. In her role, she has fundraised multiple projects funded by Biocodex, GSK, Sanofi, Save the Children, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs, UNESCO, UNICEF, World Bank, and WHO. Since 1994, Dorothy has developed robust experience in designing, implementing, monitoring and evaluating nonprofit interventions in more than twenty countries across Africa and Asia.
Dorothy receives the 2014 Gates Vaccine Innovation Award in recognition of her engagement in EPIVAC, an on-the-job training program for district medical officers to improve immunization program performance in 11 Francophone African countries.
Dorothy has a Master Degree in Human resources Management and a Bachelor degree in Management and Economy from the University of Paris 12, France.
