2011 - maintenant- Facilitate the development and implementation of MD’s Environmental Management System (EMS) and other relevant documentation in line with the companies work
activities and the ISO 14001 standard.
ￚ Plan and oversee the development and implementation of the company’s EMS and ensure it integrates with existing local and international standard, manuals and procedures.
ￚ Ensure the development and implementation of the company’s environmental targets and objectives.
ￚ Facilitate the establishment and maintenance of an Environmental Management Program(s) so that the company’s environmental targets and objectives can be achieved.
ￚ Establish monitoring programs, in conjunction with company management so that emissions and discharges from company activities can be identified and minimized.
ￚ Ensure environmental emergency procedures are in place where company activities may create significant environmental impact.
ￚ Plan and participate in training and development campaigns to enhance environmental awareness throughout the organization.
ￚ Carries out regular audits of the company’s EMS and other relevant documents to ensure compliance.
ￚ Establish and maintain contact with local, Environmental Legislators for regulatory compliance as per the standards and country norms.
ￚ Ensure the development of waste control programs. Facilitate the creation of procedures for handling waste so that the company’s impact on the environment is kept to a minimum.
ￚ Ensure the EMS and other controlling documents remain up to date and reflect current work activities.
ￚ Investigate environmental incident and prepare the report.
