The main objective of this evaluation was to analyse issues, constraints and benefit of a donor's coordination and the sustainability of this organization. This evaluation was an opportunity to launch a discussion between MDLF's partners and other backers. This evaluation was carried out in a 47' film based on a participatory approach. Technical Centre for Agricultural and Rural Cooperation (EU / ACP organisation) The objective of these study visits was to bring African officials and experts to countries where new technics or systems was developed in order for them to identify how they can replicate thiese innovations in their own countries.

These reports was use to show the projects to those who were not part of the visits.
My mission was to do the preliminary researches, the shooting, the narratives and the editing for the production of a 20' film and a shot clip.
The films have been disseminating by CTA to its African partners and network.
The 3 study visits was :
Telecenter in India: the objective of the study visit was to analyze the economic and technical framework for the development of Telecenters in urban and rural areas (access to public and administrative services, access to training, to trade).
Warehouse receipt system: the participant of the study visit was invited to make a comparison with various levels of development and uses of warehouse receipt systems from Tanzania with product storage and seasonal credits in a Public Private Partnership, to South Africa with a liberalize and futures market. Studying the economical benefits for the producers.
Geographical indications. The participants study the process to identify and protect products coming from local regions.

This one hour program was composed of a tv show and 4 reports in various countries in Africa aiming to show various issues and examples of the relation between media and agriculture.
As the chief editor of the reports my task was to:

* Coordinate the local technical teams on the field ;
* Supervise the all phases of production.

The program has been broadcasted in 44 countries in Africa through national televisions.
The reports :
4 investigations on the role and the impact of the media on rural development in 4 geographical areas. Kenya, KAIPPG (ONG) : rural communities using radio and audiovisual to exchange and share knowledge and agricultural techniques between producers. Senegal : investigation on the ground after a TV report was broadcast on roadblock racketeers on the Dakar-Bamako highway. Zambia (NGO IWMF) : An agricultural training program for journalists to improve their knowledge (agricultural technics, access to input and seeds, trade, policy). Jamaica (Cardi). Agricultral round table on the place of agriculture in the Caribbean medias.

4 films in 4 geographical areas to examine the capability of the producers to adapt to climate changes: Mali for desertification and optimization of water resources from Niger river; Kenya on the management of grazing land and famine prevention using a monitoring and communication system. Uganda: management and optimization of the various natural resources (soil, wood, water) by a village community. Cameroon: sustainable exploitation of forest plots and management by a local community to fight against illegal logging.

With 10 member states the fledgling Forest Committee of Central Africa (created in 2005) did not yet have the visibility wished to be a strong partner in negotiations with member states in order to encourage them to apply new rules and policies. Conducted an environmental, political, and institutional diagnosis of the organization, analysis of similar communication campaigns then I designed and budgeted a communication plan (objectives, tools, steps) and identified the guidelines as well as the internal and external audiences targeted.
