I am a senior associate for the Plant Quality Assurance Department at Amgen Manufacturing Limited, a subsidiary of Amgen, Inc. in Puerto Rico. I oversee visual inspection and packaging lines where products presented in syringes and vials must comply with GMPs and FDA regulations. I also complete the review and approval process of batch records.
Previously, I worked as a Quality Assurance intern at the Corporate Microbiology Department for the Research & Innovation pole at L'Oréal Paris. I was in charge of an inter laboratory test and worked with SOP optimization and translation as well as technical audits.
These two experiences served to confirm my interest in Quality as a career path. More specifically, I wish to focus on consumer products and/or medical devices, preferably, in the pharmaceutical, cosmetics, or food industry.
Although currently employed, I am exploring the job market for opportunities that will enrich my skill set even further. If the right opportunity presents itself, I am internationally mobile, willing to relocate, and fully trilingual (English-Spanish-French).
