Sainpom Inc. is proud of its partnership with La Face Cachée de la Pomme to represent, on the African market, the know-how of Quebec in the production of Apple Ice Wine in general and of Neige (our product) in particular. For the first time, a dessert wine is made of apple.
Neige means Snow in English.
Can you imagine a breath of freshness on the African hot sun?
Inspired by the technique used to make Ice Wine, extreme winter cold temperatures are needed to produce the concentration of sugars to have the Apple Ice Wine, Neige. Therefore Neige becomes a product of terroir praised by important wine business people such as Robert Parker, Véronique Rivest, Bruno Quenioux, Gérard Margeon. Lately, Neige was served to the President of the United States Barack Obama and the Royal Couple Kate and William on their visit to Quebec. Neige reached the position of a high-end beverage and we (Sainpom), believe it is also worth enjoying around Africa.
For those who have already tasted Sauternes, Ice Wine, or Tokaji, Neige will please you with its subtle fresh-baked apple notes, honey, caramel, peach fruit notes and spicy exotic cinnamon combined with piercing acidity for balance.
