Knowledge and main skills
• General :
- Know perfectly the European IT/Telecom market and its specific business models.
- Understand and promote high technical and complex solutions.
- Travel and work both independently on the field and inside a team.
• Direct and indirect sales to major telecom operators and service providers in Europe :
- Answer for both business and technical parts in tenders (RFI, RFQ, RFP).
- Handle third-party meetings with business partners, carriers.
- Negotiate and sign large agreements with high level decision makers.
- Build business cases to develop new features. Cost analysis and RoI.
• Building from scratch of a distributors network in Europe :
- Identify the most efficient business partners.
- Set, organise business travels and meetings to evaluate distributors.
- Sign distribution agreements and sales objectives with partners.
- Lead the sale channels and support my partners to increase the sale revenue.
• Direct sales to key accounts in Europe (complex hardware and software solutions):
- Find new profitable projects and opportunities.
- Make a survey about the existent network and build a proposal.
- Meet the decision makers, negotiate and close the deal.
- Monitor the logistics, delivery and support.
• Management
- Responsible for a small external sales team of 5 juniors sales representatives.
- Operational manager for a team with one senior sales, one trainee and one assistant.
- Project management.
