  2012 - 2014 As a government entity, twofour54's vision is to enable the development of world-class Arabic media and entertainment content, and to position Abu Dhabi as a regional center of excellence in content creation across all media platforms.
  As the company was growing, and with the launch by the Abu Dhabi Film Commission of a new incentive scheme aiming at attracting foreign productions in the emirate of Abu Dhabi, I joined the Production team as a Production Executive and soon got promoted to Production Manager. After 2 years in the job, I left the company to travel the World looking for new challenges, as Abu Dhabi was recognised as a major TV and Film Production location in the Middle East.
  
  • With my team, we facilitated several international TV and Film Productions ( for BBC, Universal, Screen Gems / Sony Pictures, FIFA, WTFN) while developing our working relationships with regional clients (Mubadala, Masdar, ADNOC, MBC, Fast Track Agency).
  • Training: I co-run a BBC-led programme called "intaji", focused on training local talents to the different positions of TV Production. As a result, three of the trainees were hired in the Production team.
  • I promoted Health & Safety as the Production department H&S Coordinator

  2009 - 2011 I joined the Production Services Department as part of a team launching a 5-studios complex, equipped with the very latest HD Production, Post-Production, Media Management and Broadcast Technology.
  • We set-up new procedures according to European standards and trained local talents to Broadcast TV.
  • I floor managed daily Live and pre-recorded TV programmes, in studios and on location
  • I coordinated, with the help of a specialist consultant, the implementation of a H&S Management system specialized in Media Production, which was the first in the region at the time.
  • Due to growing client's requests, we took over a second complex of 5 renovated studios.

  - Entertainment: The Buzzer - 115 episodes (Zodiak Media Group for Al Jazeera Kid), Street of Laughter - Pilot (Comedy Central Arabia), Driver Dan Story Train - Season 1 and 2 (Blink Films), Daily Sports programmes for Abu Dhabi TV (Premier league, Formula 1...)

• Al Jazeera English - London - United Kingdom - Floor Manager - Camera / Lighting Operator

  2007 - 2009 I joined just after the launch of the London Broadcast Centre, starting as a multi-skilled operator to get quickly promoted to camera / lighting operator and then to floor manager. I was part of the team that fine-tuned the recording of live news and pre-recorded programmes such as Frost Over The World, The Listening Post, Witness, People and Power. I also took part into training new employees.
  My responsibilities included:

  • Camera Operating (5 cameras on robotics)

  • Rigging and de-rigging studio sets
  

• Groupe TF1 - Intern Cameraman / Editor / Producer

  BOULOGNE 2006 - 2006 I was part of the team launching the TF1-owned web platform www.wat.tv, aimed at discovering and promoting new talents. I was tasked with producing videos (artist interviews, training videos (Watlab), concerts recording) to build up the content available on the website. Wat.tv is now TF1's official video platform.
  My responsibilities included:
  • ENG Camera Operator, lighting, sound recording
  • Editing (FCP) and exporting for the website
