En résumé

Présentement localisé aux États-Unis (Silicon Valley), je suis ingénieur diplômé (maîtrise = master >= bac+5) de l'Institut National de la Recherche Scientifique (INRS) - Télécommunications et de l'Université Laval (baccalauréat) au Québec.

C'est 15 dernières années, j'ai contribué à la conception DSP et à l'homologation de produit de télécommunications. J'ai développé une expertise en conformité de produit avec la norme NEBS, la référence ultime dans ce domaine en Amérique du Nord. Je maîtrise également les normes européennes et internationales dans ce domaine (IEC, ETSI et ITU-T).

Si l'occasion se présente, je recherche à poursuivre ma carrière d'ingénieur en Europe, que ce soit dans le domaine des télécommunications ou autre tel que l'aérospatiale, dans la fonction de management de la conformité de produit.

    Managed multiple projects with laboratories including NEBS level 3, Safety, GR-3108 outside plant (OSP), ATT-TP-76200, European standards ETSI 300 386, ETSI 300 019 and ITU-K.20/21/44/45.

    Delivered 4 certification projects over 1 year. Closely managed certification process with test laboratories and agencies from scoping to delivery phase. Other country agencies included Mexico, Australia and Canada.

    Worked with Professor Dr. Benoit Champagne, on real-time coding and testing DSP algorithms.

    In collaboration with Nortel, coded on a TI floating-point C40 a real-time implementation of a subband acoustic echo canceller (AEC) with the FAP-RLS (Fast Affine Projection) algorithm and double-talk detector schemes.

    Restructured the DSP code and enhanced the code data structure to enable information sharing across all functions and subbands.

    Optimized extensively the code using the internal fast memory of the C40 with a innovated approach that used DMA transfers for every subband.

    Implemented a new (later patented) variable gain control algorithm to
    enhanced adaptive filter performance under adverse situations.

    Introduced various code enhancement to enhance adaptive filter performance. That including decaying error normalization on speech segment start-up and background adaptation during farend talker silence.
