Management of the Finance & Control team in charge of the Launchers Development Programs
Main responsibilities and achievements :
* Set-up, organization and management of all financial aspects for the Ariane 6 programmes (3B€)
* Active contribution to the ArianeGroup joint venture creation : set-up and organization of a new multi-site and multi-cultural team, process and tools sharing and harmonization, management of assets transferred from Airbus and Safran to ArianeGroup (contracts, revenues, margin)
* Management of financial performance and KPI's : Order Intake, Sales, Costs, Gross Margin, Cash, Workload, Geo-Return
* Management of all financial processes : Estimate At Completion, Operative Plan, yearly budget and forecast, external auditors presentation, investment and CAPEX, Internal Work Order (between ArianeGroup SAS and GmbH), subcontracts review and validation, ...
* Contribution to business preparation (proposal structuring, costing and challenging, business plan elaboration, negotiations with ESA) and capture of competitive deals

- Program Manager - Launchers Avionics and Software

Set-up and management of the Ariane 5 development programs for all avionics, software and electrical ground means (130M€) : obsolescence and anomaly treatment, evolutions for new programs
Main responsibilities and achievements :
* Anticipation of future avionics needs, elaboration and deployment of a general roadmap.
* Elaboration of project proposals and direct negotiations with ESA (European Space Agency)
* Set-up of the program team organisation in charge of managing the avionics projects, and of declaring the launcher flightworthiness wrt. all electrical and software aspects.
* Respect of the schedule, gross margin and technical performances, for all projects. In particular, successful flight introduction in from 2010 to 2013 of all redesigned equipment.
* Set-up of partnerships with other companies (TAS, GTD) to optimise the industrial organisation and to ease the geo-return

Management of the ATV Functional Engineering and Software
Departement (100M€ , 120 people), in charge of:
* Functional studies of the Automated Transfer Vehicle
(mission management, vehicle management, data handling,...)
* Flight and Safety Software development and validation
Main responsibilities and achievements :
* Creation of the department, and in particular of a reinforced team dedicated to project management (configuration, schedule, requirements, quality)
* Recovery of the "software crisis'' situation revealed in 2003 on the ATV Program = recovery of the customer trust wrt. software development and quality aspects
* Delivery of all software versions on time, on cost, on quality
* Management of the end of the project, reduction of the team from ~120 people to a core team of ~10 people, competence transfer from all subcontractors to this core team, The 1st ATV was successfully launched in 2008, and the second one in 2010, with a perfect behaviour of the on-board software and functional system.

This technology enables the large-scale interconnection of geographically distributed simulation facilities, interacting in real-time via a High Perfomance Network.
