En résumé

As a passionate Computer Scientist with a Maîtrise degree (one-year post-graduate French degree) with Highest Honors and Mathematician with a Bachelor degree also with Highest Honors, both from University of Franche-Comte (France), obtained with very high scores whilst working and raising my family, I could not have succeeded in my endeavors without discipline and hard work. In order to get the best solutions, designs or implementations, I constantly direct my work toward state-of-the-art and innovative research in the required knowledge fields. I'm passionately willing to dedicate my time more completely to advanced research and innovation, either academic or within business.

Endowed with a strong capacity of logic, autonomy and perseverance, through my endeavors I gain, create and apply wide knowledge and strong skills in multiple interrelated domains, especially within computer science and mathematics. A few highlights:
* Received highly enthusiastic feedback from auditors and organizers for the presentations I've lectured.
* The innovative ideas I presented while improving a 2 dimensional takeoff tool, were highly appreciated and I've been designed responsible for the design of a new 3 dimensional tool.
* I created state-of-the-art and innovative specifications and designs for a valuation software.
* Taking care of mathematics and algorithm implementations, I designed and I'm participating in the development of a 3 dimensional rendering and physics engine.
* Bringing valuable implementation of distinct analysis tools, I participated to the quantitative research team at a finance company.
* As volunteer, I'm responsible for some non scientific courses and presentations for my community.

    2014 - 2015 Responsible for the design of a take-off tool with 3 dimensional representation for the construction industry (C++, VS2013, Git), after having successfully improved a prototype of the tool in 2 dimensions (C++/C#, GDI, VS2010, Git). Additionally, I achieved the adaptation of an automated data collection process to a new input/output format (MS Excel VBA).

    2013 - 2014 The job entailed leading and coordinating the activities in the team of Pedagogical Innovations. Responsible for preparing feasibility analysis for distinct projects and selecting software. I taught my team and guided them in their development activities. I also set up the Linux development server with basic security and a git work-flow for source code management.

    2012 - maintenant Duties involve scientific consultancy, project management, software design and development, advisory. I'm responsible for a 3D physics & rendering engine, especially the mathematics and physics simulation and model loading (C/C++, OpenGL 3.3, GCC-Make-Git, Assimp, Blender). I achieved a state-of-the-art and innovative specification and design for a valuation software in compliance with modern international standards. I created a tool to automatically convert Libre Office and MS Office documents to PDF in perfect quality, I automated the correction of data in hundreds of thousands of text files (AWK), and I designed a database for a small medical office (PostgreSQL). Additionally, I managed Linux system and computer administration, client relations and administrative duties.

    HARDRICOURT 2008 - 2012 For distinct civil engineers, I implemented a calculation prototype for water systems and I developed a report generating tool (OOBasic). In addition, I wrote miscellaneous advanced bash scripts (Linux from Scratch automated installation) and a command line tool (C automated bitmap modification). I taught technology and French to young people and adults.

  • EIM SA - Development Engineer

    2004 - 2007 Attached to the quantitative research team, I was responsible for the administration of the Matlab distributed computing system, I participated in the implementation of quantitative risk models in Matlab (Monte Carlo Simulations) and I developed autonomously many financial tools and prototypes (VBA, SQL), getting data automatically from various databases. I achieved the development of: Stress Tests, Back Tests, Sensitivity to Market Analysis, Portfolio Analysis (Contributions, Sectors and Regions Exposures, Composition in Strategies, Capacity and Liquidity), and management reports. A few prototypes required from me the design and implementation of relational databases (SQL), using binary objects to speed up transfer processes. I also contributed advanced technical support, documentation and training.

    2003 - 2004 Duties involved the design, implementation and documentation of the contact database with mail merge facilities, advanced search capabilities, statistics and reports (MS Access). I was also responsible for training users and administrators of the database.
  • PLSP-Dev (software developments) - System Technician

    2001 - 2003 I developed a 3 dimensional rendering and flight simulation engine, with axis-aligned-bounding-box collision management and sound source positioning (C++, DirectX8). With a classmate, I implemented a 3 dimensional mathematical function renderer (Pascal 7, assembler routines). I programmed small games and tools for mathematical calculations (GWBasic). I taught classes as tutor in: mathematics, descriptive geometry, physics, technology, programming, languages.
