En résumé

Je suis responsable du développement et de la préparation à la mise en production de composants du Châssis (suspension, roues et pneumatiques, colonne de direction, levier et câbles de boite de vitesse) pour les véhicules Toyota construit en Europe.
Ma principale mission est le développement de la prochaine génération d'Aygo pour les systèmes de suspension, roues et pneumatiques en étroite collaboration avec Peugeot-Citroën Automobiles, les usines et les fournisseurs.
Je m'occupe également de la résolution des problèmes qualité client et production.

  • Toyota Motor Europe - R&D Project Engineer - Chassis

    Onnaing 2011 - maintenant Main responsibilities :
    • Ensure engineering of suspensions and other parts (wheels, tires, torsion beam, shock absorber…) for next generation A segment vehicles;
    • Support Purchasing Dept on technical issues during suppliers/partners selection;
    • Perform feasibility analysis (trade off between technical solutions and economic impact on project – timing/costs) since firsts phase of the project;
    • Held relationship with external suppliers/partners during prototypes parts procurement (technical issues, respect of costs and timing) by taking care of level of risk of the supplier;
    • Control and monitoring of testing procedures;
    • Produce and update technical documentation by ensuring proper archiving;
    • Integrate technical BOM by indicating lead time for part engineering, date of availability of new components, needed lead time for functional tests;
    • Organize Suppliers Performance Management meetings for close follow-up and monitoring of each suppliers' activities.
    • Keep monitoring field concerns for vehicle in mass production and solve quality problems related to chassis parts.
  • Toyota Motor Europe - Chassis Design Project Engineer

    Onnaing 2007 - 2011 - Responsible for next generation Yaris Steering and Shift systems Development and Validation up to mass production including Suppliers Management,
    - Responsible for solving current Yaris Customer Quality issues for steering and shift parts,
    - Responsible for solving current Yaris Production Issues in plant (quality, design, assy, logistics or ergonomics),
    - Development of Toyota Europe MUST targets for customer satisfaction toward driveability and handling,
    - Benchmark of competitors for Chassis technologies in B, C, D, E and premium segment,
    - Worked with Evaluation division to improve suspension Kinematic & Compliance test bench methods and analysis of vehicles,
    - Previously Commodity responsible for Shift systems of Auris, Avensis and Verso and for brake pedal and tubing of Avensis,
    - Graduated from Toyota 18 months Graduate Development Program 2007/2009,
    - Worked 2 months as assembly member in Toyota plant in Valenciennes (France),
    - Passed Toyota Drive Training for prototype driving.
  • Faurecia China - R&D Engineer Trainee

    2007 - 2007 - Sourcing and development of interior equipments (seats & Instrument Panel) for chinese version of Peugeot 407 & Citroën C5,
    - Implementation and standardization of seat comfort test methods to chinese market,
    - Investigation of local laboratories capabilities (equipment, standards, cost and leadtimes) for tests on Instrument Panel: airbag test, crash tests, homologation, durability, etc.
  • De la Chapelle / Berard SA - R&D Engineer Trainee

    2005 - 2005 September-December 2005:
    - Design, manufacturing and tests of a prototype buggy (PGO BR500),
    - Front axle, cockpit and engine layout design of a Ford GT40 replica.
