Pre- Project:
- Involved in tenders preparation (Rig surveys, technical recommendations, budget and schedule participation)
Project phase:
- Ensure that the HSEQ procedures are followed and that the projects are executed with zero LTI (Lost Time Injury). Safety first.
- In depth technical management and involvement at engineering, fabrication, installation and commissioning stages.

Turn-key EPIC Project: Upgrades & Conversion of a second hand jack-up (Levingston C-111) into a Mobile Offshore Drilling and Production Unit (MODPU) (in Texas), provision of a moored FSO (with a CALM buoy). The MODPU and the FSO will be interconnected by a 2 Km 8” export sub-sea pipeline. This solution is to produce the marginal field HelM, offshore Tunisia. (150 M $)
Tasks:
- Deputy Project Manager and Company Man supervising the Upgrades and Conversion of a Levingston Jackup into a MODPU. (Shipyard in Texas – USA)
- In depth involvement in most project management and technical decisions of the complete project (Jack-up + Sealine + Wellbay + FSO)
- First responsible of all technical decisions related to offshore structures and marine sides.
- Focal point for interactions with class (ABS) and shipyard.
- Deputise and assist the Project Manager and Technical Manager in most technical and management decisions.

- Provision and installation of a 2 km subsea electrical cable between two offshore platforms including the I-tubes, protection mattresses … ( 3 M $ )
- Replacement of 11 km of a damaged offshore pipeline including trenching and back filling ( 3 M $ )
