  - Involved in tenders preparation (Rig surveys, technical recommendations, budget and schedule participation)

  - Ensure that the HSEQ procedures are followed and that the projects are executed with zero LTI (Lost Time Injury). Safety first.
  - In depth technical management and involvement at engineering, fabrication, installation and commissioning stages.
  - Develop commissioning procedures and coordinate commissioning activities.
  - Progress follow up and monitoring.
  - Follow up with the Planning Engineer and Cost Controller to produce realistic updated Gantt Charts and Cost Reports.
  - Earned Value Management including schedule and cost performance indexes, S curves, interpretation and corrective actions.
  - Negotiate variation orders
  - Negotiate and solve conflicts with client and suppliers (late deliveries, potential penalties,…)
  - Risk management (identify, assess, decide: accept, reduce or transfer )
  - Contract management (SoW inclusions and exclusions, insurance and liabilities, …)

• SAROST - Deputy Project Manager

  Emmerich 2009 - 2011 Tunis - Texas – China
  
  1- Deputy Project Manager of a marginal oil field development including a Jackup Conversion (Levingston C-111)
  Project (progress 50% and currently on standby due to the political situation in Tunisia)
  Turn-key EPIC Project: Upgrades & Conversion of a second hand jack-up (Levingston C-111) into a Mobile Offshore Drilling and Production Unit (MODPU) (in Texas), provision of a moored FSO (with a CALM buoy). The MODPU and the FSO will be interconnected by a 2 Km 8” export sub-sea pipeline. This solution is to produce the marginal field HelM, offshore Tunisia. (150 M $)
  
  Tasks:
  
  - Deputy Project Manager and Company Man supervising the Upgrades and Conversion of a Levingston Jackup into a MODPU. (Shipyard in Texas – USA)
  - In depth involvement in most project management and technical decisions of the complete project (Jack-up + Sealine + Wellbay + FSO)
  - First responsible of all technical decisions related to offshore structures and marine sides.
  - Focal point for interactions with class (ABS) and shipyard.
  - Deputise and assist the Project Manager and Technical Manager in most technical and management decisions.
  
  2- Project Management activities (offshore projects)
  - Provision and installation of a 2 km subsea electrical cable between two offshore platforms including the I-tubes, protection mattresses … ( 3 M $ )
  - Replacement of 11 km of a damaged offshore pipeline including trenching and back filling ( 3 M $ )
  

• Subsea Group AS - Project Engineer

  2008 - 2009 Subsea Group As, London - Stavanger
  
  Tasks:
  - Structural assessment of Module Handling Towers for subsea well intervention (for Botnica, Normand Flower…). (DNV standards)
  - Design and analysis of Topside structures and offshore equipment.
  - Finite Element Analysis of offshore structures (derricks, HPU support...).
  - Fabrication and Construction follow-up in the ship yard (of the Normand Flower Module Handling Tower).
  - Responsible of coordination with MENA (marketing, bids, partnerships, contracts…).
  Other activities:
  - One month training in 3D structural design in the Norwegian office in Stavanger.
  - One week training with Siemens in Oslo on the new design package NX.
  - In-house training in pipeline engineering, design and inspection. (DNV standards)
  - Formulate proposals for pipeline engineering and inspection project bids: engineering procedures and CTR.
  - I have proposed and ran successfully a marketing campaign in the Middle East and North Africa to broaden our engineering consultancy portfolio.
  - Represented SSG in the Petroleum Industry Exhibition (Tunisia, april 2009).

  - Inspect mechanical parts and assure that they meet the design and safety requirements.
  - Inspect assemblies of Hydraulic Power Units.
  - Keep administrative track of inspections, follow regulations and quality standards.
  

• Figeac Aero - Production Engineer - Summer Placement

  2007 - 2007 Figeac Aero, France: (Major structural and mechanical supplier for Airbus, EADS Astrium...)
  
  Mission: Analyse and improve the production cycles of structural parts for aircraft engines.
  Achievements:
  - Implementation of new tooling and programming methods: reduction of manufacturing time by 20%.
  - Implementation of optimised methods to reduce tools failure during machining based on the properties of materials academic background.
  - Implementation of a more efficient testing step in the production cycle.

• EADS Sogerma - Junior Project Manager (summer placement)

  Colomiers 2005 - 2005 Defence section, Morocco.
  
  Tasks: I elaborated a technical and financial study of a new composites shop and project-managed its implementation for the Moroccan Royal Air Force (client).
  Achieved with brilliance and before deadline. (Budget: around 200,000 €).
